Thankyou to everyone for your kind welcome and advice, I have alot to learn and discover.
I have never received replies to my comments. Changed different things but still nothing. Does anyone have a suggestion?
When I first started reading others blogs there were lots of posts that included 'the stash'. No nothing illicit I soon found out but the fabric stash (i must tell you that there are still abbrieviations that I dont know the meaning of). My very meager stash comprised mostly of dressmaking materials so on Boxing Day I hit the only fabirc shop open, Lincraft, and bulked up my supply.
Do you see the theme? I didnt realise until I went to take the photo ----- spots. Oh well, what can you do?
Maybe another trip to a fabric store. Haha.
I've joined my first swap with Cheryll, the initial heart swap. I'm excited!
Stay cool Aussie bloggers!

Just popped over from Michelle's blog to say hi. You will learn a lot as you blog along. Check the comments section of your blogger account and you should find an option to receive emails. Take some time to browse around and see what other options you might like to use.
Just came over from Michelle's blog to say welcome! I don't blog myself but love reading a LOT of others blogs. I have become a follower, if you ever post a question that I can answer, I'll give it my best shot.
Nothing wrong about having an affection for spots. I certainly do. You'll be looking around madly for stash busting quilts before long like the rest of us. Lol.

Pop on over to Chookyblues blog, she has a "How to.....bloggy bits" that has some great info. copy and paste this into your web browser

Watchout, once you start building that stash there will be no stopping you :o) hugs
All that inspiration from other blogs will see your stash growing here & there. Look out for giveaways too, there are lots to celebrate here so many generous bloggers sharing things around. Re the comments, do you mean ones you have made on other blogs? I have received emails this morning of comments you made & replied back to you so if I am understanding that right maybe you fixed it & its OK now. Blogger help can be good once you wade through everything to the right place. Tracee xx
What fun, fabric shopping! Enjoy.
You'll find yourself buying 100% cotton shirts for the men in your life, but only in fabric designs you like.
When I see friends and family members wearing lovely shirts I have my hand down their collars to see what it's made of!
Quilting is horribly addictive and thankfully, there is no cure.

These are the best kind of 'spots' to have!
I love the way your stash is looking . When I started patchwork 2 years ago I only had a couple of fabrics and never had what I wanted to do even a small project. After just buying up some specials I decided to pick some projects and buy specifically what I needed. If you buy five or six pieces that go well together and a few plains they will make up into lots of nice small projects. You are off to a great start.
a great start to your stash!
wait till you have to start talking UFO and WISPS, had me flustered at the start too. Love your little mini for you stand. Very sweet.
Once you start buying for projects and having leftovers your stash will increase heaps.
Fantastic stash start. Mine still fits in a 52 ltr container lol so no real comments on a stash from me. The other girls might also have some online stores that they use to help with your stash. I prefer to actually see the fabrics and only ever buy with a project in mind. I've ordered from www.patchworksplus.com.au, fees shabby shack, and another that I can't quite remember but will let you know when I do.
